3D model description

Since it was not easy for a pal of mine to find a bleed block for the Formula RX disk brakes here in Germany, I designed and printed one myself. The bleed block is necessary when you bleed your brakes to hold the brake pistons in place so that they don't get pushed out of the brake body.

The gallery shows the V1 version that fits quite nicely into the brake block. Version V2 has a little wider hole for the fixation screw to fit more easily as well as it is rounder on the bottom to match the brake body shape - an aesthetic thing...

Print it with three to four top/bottom layers and an infill of above 10% to withstand the pressure forces of the brake's pistons. When using a honeycomb or rectangular infill pattern it is not necessary to have a too dense infill. I've printed the bleed block with PLA.

Please report any issues in dimensions and shape so I can optimize the bleed block further.
