Sten MkII (S) Imitation Suppressor

This is an imitation suppressor for the Sten Mk II (S) as used by SOE and Commandos during WW2, Vietnam and several other sneaky-beaky operations (the later Mk VI and MACSOGV suppressors are different).

What you get:

• 3 STL's (body1, body2 and optional barrel nut)
• pdf file with a diagram and a few notes on how to replicate the insulated canvas wrap shown in the second photo

The barrel nut is optional in case the one you have doesn't fit the imitation suppressor body.

The overall length is about 325mm (12.75") long, so I split it into two smaller pieces about 162mm (6.375") for easier printing. They lock together and can be glued for extra strength.

It has space inside to slip over a standard length Sten barrel so you do not need the special shortened barrel either.

I can not guarantee it will fit perfectly with the replica/toy Stens that people sell STL files for because I don't know if they used proper plans. You should expect to have to do some work to make it fit.

ATTENTION: This is NOT a real suppressor. It does not have functioning parts and it cannot accept functioning parts. It is also completely solid at the end so projectiles cannot be launched through it. It is purely cosmetic and only for purposes of cosplay, re-enactment or display.

Body1 and Body2 can be printed with 0.20mm layers.

Barrel nut should be printed with 0.12mm or smaller layers.

Supports should not be required. All parts are already oriented in their ideal printing positions.
