3D model description

A new trailerfor the famous FMS ATLAS 6WD now tranformed in petrol tank carrier with trailer.
It looks like trucks in Spintires, Mudrunner and Snowrunner video games.

One main frame is fitted onto the truck, you just have to remove all rear plastic parts on the rear area of the model

On the trailer frame 5 side fixtures are fitted and a main tank is centered on the frame and glued. You have to print the tank verticaly and add the rear end by glueing.
Same for the 3 top fake openings using the jig for fitting them symetricaly
Rear ladder is added as well and 2 side conncecting boxes made of 3 parts are glued in place. On the other side you have 3 pipes part which is printed also verticaly and finaly glued on the main frame.

You need M1.4 screws to assemble parts on the Trailer frame

Very simple to print and assemble.

This trailer use 54mm diameter x 18mm 1.0 tires like SCX24 jeep.
You can find cheap version of these tires on aliexpress in China.

The swivel use the mirror finish of your print when printing on a glass or mirror then you have to print the pivot or swivel with the upper side on the bed and a additional ring to be glued on the trailor frame in order to get two mirror finish parts in contact together. It works better than expected. A central M3x8 or M3x10 screw is required. Just screw and unscrew a bit to let it move freely.
The axles are leaf springs supported. with all necessary stuffs to assemble. Just look at pictures. you can use M1,4 screws to locate properly the leaf spring support when glueing. then remove the screws.

send en Email to luc.tellier@wanadoo.fr in case you need support during assembly.

As usual you have to redrill holes to 1.2mm when a screw has to screw in and redrill to 1.5mm when a screw has to go through freely.

Parts have to be located properly on the bed as I don't know how to do it at the design phase.
