3D model description

Just two years after Gray Noton’s legendary run ended, a new contender showed up seemingly out of nowhere to attempt to conquer the arenas of Solaris 7. Not sponsored by any major stable and seemingly unconnected with any of the Great Houses, the pilot of their very own custom Charger went only by The Stranger. Over time some would call this individual the Mysterious Stranger which only added to the legend of the MechWarrior that came and went like the wind.

After appearing out of the blue and advancing through several qualifying matches, the Stranger managed to maneuver their Charger into the Class Six tournament. After felling opponents both bigger and smaller, they finally came up against Hans Moder who narrowly achieved victory over the custom machine.

Following defeat, the Stranger had their Charger repaired in one of the many workshops on Solaris 7 and was given numerous offers to join stables or mercenary crews following their performance. Refusing them all however, they left the game world just as quickly as they had come and were never seen again in recorded history.

The identity and fate of the Stranger is one of Solaris 7’s most enduring mysteries to this day.

Running a 320 rated fusion engine and clad in 14 tons of Star Slab standard armor, the Stranger is a generalized missile boat. Three LRM-5 launchers are fitted to the left arm in a near identical configuration as the LRM-15 mount on the Zeus. At closer range, the Stranger switches to its quad SRM-6 array in either side torso. Backing these up are a single medium and small laser in the center torso and head. Judicious heat management is required, as it only has thirteen sinks to speak of.
