Historical description :
The Panzer VI Tiger I Ausf. E, often simply referred to as the Tiger I, was a formidable German heavy tank used during World War II. It was renowned for its heavy armor and powerful 8.8 cm KwK 36 L/56 gun, which could effectively penetrate and destroy enemy tanks at considerable distances.
The Tiger I was introduced to the battlefield in 1942 and quickly gained a reputation for its superior firepower and durability. It played a crucial role in various major battles, including the Eastern and Western fronts. However, its heavy weight made it less mobile and prone to mechanical issues. Despite its drawbacks, the Tiger I remained a feared opponent, and its presence on the battlefield commanded respect from Allied forces.
