A comrade asked me to make him steel blanks for plate wrenches. While the metal was being milled, I came up with a simple idea to design a plastic head for this (and not only this) type of wrench. I think no one can argue that a wrench with a plastic head is more comfortable to hold and looks more aesthetically pleasing.

The idea of the design is clear from the model photo - the wrench itself is inserted into one half of the head, and the other half is slid on dovetail type slides to the stop. The first printing of the halves turned out to be approximate, to understand what dimensions need to be adjusted to compensate for the shrinkage of a particular plastic, with the second attempt, everything stood on the keys as designed - and the metal plastic tightly pressed, and between the plastic halves virtually no gap, glue is not needed. The owner of the keys liked my extra present. Perhaps some of the forum members will like the principle of such a print head for their keys - that's why I have posted the models not only in STL, but also in STEP-format (inside the RAR archive).
