3D model description

From way down-under: Thylacine!
Known commonly as the Tasmanian Tiger for its sandy fur marked with black stripes along its lower half, as well as the Tasmanian Wolf for its uncanny similarities to placental wolves, thylacines were the last large marsupial predators to inhabit Australia and the island of Tasmania during the end of the last ice age. The mainland thylacines had gone extinct in pre-colonial times while a relict population remained on Tasmania until the 1936 when the last known specimen 'Benjamin' died in captivity.

Although declared extinct in 1986, alleged sightings of thylacines have occurred for decades since Benjamin's passing to this very day, making the Tasmanian Tiger a cryptid that many still believe have managed to stay alive in spite of humans exterminating them.

Now you can have your very own 1/12 scale thylacine action figure!

NOTE: Item is not a toy. Not for children under 18yrs old.

3D printing settings

When using SLS Nylon from sites such as Sculpteo, only use raw or polished finishes for either PA12 or PA12 (HD-60ΞΌm). Avoid using Chemically-Smoothed option as this will cause joints to be too loose and will not hold poses. No other materials have been tested for this print, be it professional or home-printers, so print and experiment at your own discretion.
