3D model description

A phone holder for the CD slot present in almost every car. After several searches on the Internet, I did not find a phone holder for the CD slot that has the arms that go into the holder thin enough to enter the slot and not disturb the CD while listening to music.

So we designed this stand with 2mm arms, it is 125mm wide (the width between the arms is 85mm) which is strong enough to support a phone weighing up to 300g (for 50% infill) . You CAN play a CD and use this support at the same time!

I successfully tested it on the original radio of a Volkswagen Golf 5 Variant, Golf 5 Plus and Tiguan, but I'm sure it goes on any CD slot that has a height of 2 mm.

Printed in the original rotation for high resistance and a reduced use of supports, the more infill you add, the more resistant it is.

3D printing settings

Build time: 2h for 0.2 mm at 100% infill or 3 h for 0.16 mm
Material: I used PLA, but any material works.
Temp: 205 Celsius for nozzle and 65 for bed
Infill: works with 30% or any above, 100% preferred.
Build Plate Adhesion: Brim ( for glass bed but is not mandatory)
Support: Yes!
