3D model description

WABI | Self-watering Planter

Want to buy a physical 3D print of this product?
Head to Trajann online store.

Meet the 2nd newborn of our WABI collection.

This self-watering planter features an ergonomic watering gap between the water reservoir and the plante's pot, allowing you to water your plant effortlessly without having to open the planter.

No need to skillfully aim your watering can at a tiny hole and pray you won't spill all around.
WABI's watering gap runs all around the pot and makes it super easy to pour water from a can or a faucet.

It prints fast and without supports.

The original size is Ø 140mm x H 150 mm.
Scale it up at will.
You can shrink it to 75% without issues (like the pink version in the pictures).
You might have watertightness issues if you shrink it further (walls would get too think).

DIMENSIONS | Ø 140mm x H 150 mm

Printing | Pot ~3h & Reservoir ~2h

3D printing settings

For a watertight result, make sure your printer is well calibrated and lubricated.
Then, increase the wall line count to 3.
The wall thickness is 2.4mm, so that makes for 6 wall lines with a 0.4mm nozzle.
That's plenty to make it watertight!

Resolution: 0.2mm / layer or less
Infill: gyroid ~20%
Build adhesion type: None
Supports: None
