3D model description

I redesigned the vintage fridge so it printed better and allows you to setup an LED with a magnetic switch and magnet.

Door opens
Drawers comes out
Light comes on when the door is open(make sure the power switch is in the "ON" Position.
Powered by a CR2032 type battery

Assembly requirements
CA Glue (cyanoacrylate)
2x 2x12mm self tapping screws
2mm drill bit (to ream out screw holes)
1.5mm drill bit (to ream out screw holes)

A few items needed for the LED to light up.
A soldering iron
22 gauge wire
a battery holder
a Hall effect switch(Normally closed)
magnet (you can buy the above switch in a set with magnets)

For the LED.
insert the LED nito the hole provided on the top of the fridge insert.
Solder 2x 8 inch wires to the LED(I used 22guage silicone wired in red and black) (Red on the longer LED lead)
insert the ends of the wires into the slot at the inside bottom rear of the fridge while placing the insert into the main unit.
Place the Magnetic switch into the long slot underneath.
Glue the battery holder onto the bottom of the fridge
Solder its red wire to one end of the Switch
Solder the other end of the switch to the LED's Red wire.
Solder the black wires together.
place a battery into the holder.

This is the tricky part
Press fit the Magnet into the round slot provided on the door. If its loose then just glue it. Install the doors using the 2x 2x12mm screws.
The switch may need to be adjusted left or right depending on what part of it will be affected by the magnet. keep the door closed and peek into the slot that the LED wires come through. if when the door is closed the LED is off then you should be good(provided all the connections are properly done). if its off, check to see that it comes on when the door opens.See the Tiktok video).

ifm when you peek through the slot and the light is on with the doot closed, move slowly more the switch left or right a little at a time until the light turns off with the door closed. once it does, make sur eit turns on when the door opens..

3D printing settings

Most parts can be printed on their backs except for the door and handle. The door must be printed standing up and the handle on its end. No supports required but best to use a 5mm brim for the door.
