3D model description

This double-sided hook is designed to conveniently fit railings and banisters up to 37.5 mm (~1.47 inches) in diameter. Its compact design allows for a snug fit over your chosen surface, providing a stable and non-damaging solution for hanging various items like festive stockings or running clothes (my wife does not like the latter as much).

Your digital download includes a version with a pre-made hole for a #6 screw, giving you the option for a more permanent fixture if needed, particularly in areas where stability is key.

Engineered for ease, this hook prints quickly and without the need for supports, ensuring a clean, in-place print. It's optimized for PLA filament for a good balance of strength and ease of use, but for heavier items, filaments like ABS or PETG are recommended to increase durability.

This hook was initially created to hang stockings without harming banister surfaces, but its utility extends to many other uses. It's a practical tool for any home, aiding in both seasonal decoration and everyday organization.
