Adaptador para controlar una encimera Balay con los mandos de un horno polivalente Teka

Un horno polivalente (no confundir con multifunción) es el que, además de los mandos propios del horno, trae otros para controlar la encimera, sea de gas, eléctrica o vitrocerámica (ver foto 1), conectando los mandos a la encimera mediante una varilla o cardán (ver foto 2)

El horno se estropea más habitualmente que una encimera, y Balay ya no fabrica hornos polivalentes, sólo Teka, por lo que, al estropearse mi horno Balay, con la encimera funcionando perfectamente, decidí comprar un horno Teka polivalente. La conexión de la varilla es distinta a la de Balay, por lo que hice este adaptador. El adaptador se acopla al mando del horno Teka y se asegura con un pasador de metal (yo he usado un clip de sujetar papel), y en el otro extremo se introduce la bola al final de la varilla de unión a la encimera (ver foto 3)

Estoy usando tanto horno como encimera con regularidad, y el adaptador funciona perfectamente


Adapter for using a Balay stove with a Teka multipurpose oven

A multipurpose oven (not to be confused with multifunction) is the one that, other than its own, also has the controls for a stove, being gas, electric or vitroceramic (see pic 1). The connection between oven and stove is done with a cardan joint (see pic 2)

The oven is usually more prone to malfunction than the stove, and Balay doesn't make multipurpose ovens anymore so, when mine broke, I decided to buy a Teka oven. The cardan plugs are different between Balay and Teka, so I made this adapter. The adapter plugs in to the Teka oven controller, it's secured with a metal pin (I used a paper clip), and in the other end goes the ball in the cardan joint to the stove (see pic 3)

I'm using both the oven and the stove regularly, and the adapter works flawlessly

3D printing settings

Imprimir con la parte circular sobre la cama, y usar soporte dentro que se puede retirar fácilmente con pinzas. Se puede hacer con PLA si el horno está bien aislado térmicamente (y los hornos modernos lo están). Aún así, recomiendo usar PETG


Print with the round end on the printer bed, and use support inside that can be removed easily with pliers. PLA will do if the oven is well insulated (and modern ovens are). But I recommend PETG
