3D model description

The main piece is the structure that must be screwed to the cane, the smaller and simpler piece serves as a mold that you must fill with hot melt glue, this is what will prevent our cane from slipping when resting it on any type of surface.

In order to remove the mold I previously covered it with cinnamon powder (it is hydrophobic and acts as an anti-adherent) and removed it with the pliers that come with the printers to remove the excess plastic from the prints.

The screw used is 4 mm in radius and 4 cm long, the piece itself is used to drill the wood without deflecting, but previously the end of the stick must be filed to fit. When adding the hot melt glue to the mold you can cover or not the screw so that the glue does not cover it, either way it can be screwed in.

The wood used for the cane is cypress, it was a secondary stem that I cut from the main tree. It is a semi-hard wood and bends slightly, but it will withstand the weight of a person despite being so thin.

The handle is made of synthetic rope. It also has rope at the lower end to reinforce the wood. This rope is very absorbent and could be dyed brown with the same Teak oil used on the wood in case you want to give it a more discreet brown tone.

3D printing settings

It is printed at 0.2 mm on an Anycubic mega X. The material used is PLA. It requires support and a border of 8 lines.
