3D model description

This lid is compatible with the original Suzuki tool box that comes with: Suzuki DR 200 - Suzuki DR200S - Suzuki DR 650 - Suzuki DRZ 400 since it is exactly the same box for all of them, all year models.

It has a Snap-in fitting that provides a quite strong sealing.

In order to take it off you just need to pull it from either the bottom or top.

The motorcycle on the video is a Suzuki DR200s.

I printed it on a stock Ender 3 and for the color change I just paused the print when it made it to the DR logo and switched the filament and then continued the print, you can do this with any colors you want.

3D printing settings

The only two parameters that are mandatory in order to get a piece with the expected behavior and resistance are:

-layer height:0.12mm max (the less the better here)

-Infill density: 50%

I suggest to print it with the dr logo facing the top and not the bed so you get a better quality and aesthetics on the exterior, however it was printed with it facing the bed as well and it did it just fine.

This piece does require some support, I suggest for the support:

-Z distance: 0.24mm

-support density: 1% (
