3D model description

I designed this for a UM2 clone I’m building (tall mount version). I don’t like the mega bracket that's in the UM2 collection I’m using. It has sides that limits airflow, it takes forever to print, and it’s overbuilt. This design places the USB connector at the correct height to clear the clone’s aluminum frame (when using a 6mm/0.25in bottom panel).

The bracket pilot holes are 2mm or 2.5mm. These holes can be drilled out/tapped to whatever final size you desire. Even though the Mega board holes are 3.2mm, I’ve noticed that M2.5 is largest screw head that the two Mega boards I have support (all holes).

The 2.5mm and tall versions take M2.5 threaded screws without any modification.

The tall version is 16mm, the other versions are 12mm.

The tall version has an additional mount for a DC-DC bracket.
See http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2232850 for the DC-DC converter bracket.
