3D model description

Full set of 1/16th Scale highly detailed Vickers β€˜K’ machine guns & mounts. I designed these for converting the Takom 1/16th scale 4 x 4 Utility Truck (Willy’s Jeep) to the version used by the British SAS/LRDG during the World War 2 North Africa campaign. Many hours of research & modelling have gone into this set – see pictures & drawings for reference. Suitable for resin printing.

The Vickers K and deflectors were modelled using original plans, but a little artistic license was used for the mounts and mainly based on various reference photo’s, so please use the images provided for finished look. Not all weapon mounts were used so have provided the full set so you may decide the desired setup. Please note that this is a digital download as a STL file for 3D printing at home. This item has been designed/modelled by me and is for personal use only. The file is suitable for resin printing due to the size, scale & detail. The sizes on the drawings are for the native CAD models and dimensions may differ slightly once printed due to quality and shrinkage etc.
