SOMUA S35

The was a medium battle tank serving in French armoured divisions during the battle of France. With sufficient armour thickness and armed with the forward thinking 4.7cm gun the Somua was a good match for any German armour in 1940. Poor reserves and positioning left these tanks with middling performance overall, but were still formidable in their own right.

These STL's represent Somua in 1940.

Variants include a command Hull & Turret so you can print an entire platoon of 5 tanks that do not look the same.

These models have been designed at 6mm to give a balance between detail & reliability for both the printing and gaming. They also scale up to 10mm nicely so I have included these too.

Models are supplied in both normal and β€˜tabbed’ variants. These Tabs allow you to base these vehicles and still have some room for basing material before you start to cover up the tracks. They also strengthen the model support options.

3D printing settings

I would recommend printing these at 0.02 to 0.025 layer height. I have test printed these models on a 4k Printer, so results on a 2k printer may vary.
