3D model description

With this full scale kit of the double magazine housing mechanism you can convert the MP 40 from WILDTOYS (https://cults3d.com/:84424) into a MP40-I.

The MP40-I, also known as the MP40 with double magazine, was only produced in small numbers for troop testing during the Second World War. For this purpose, damaged MP40s that were sent to Erma by the army for repair were fitted with a new magazine housing system.

This device accommodates two 32-round magazines side by side. The slide in which the magazines are held can be moved transversely to switch between the two magazines, giving the shooter 64 rounds without having to change magazines.

Additional material required:

3x spiral spring, outer diameter approx. 5mm, wire thickness approx. 0.5mm

1x 2mm wire

1x 3mm wire

1x M3x15 countersunk screw

3D printing settings

Recommended print parameters when using PLA/PLA+:

40% infill, 0.2mm layer height
