3D model description

These wheels are designed for 1/10th scale buggies using a standard 2.2 tire. The models have extra tolerance for the axel hole and 12mm hex such that they should fit off the print bed. I have used these on an RC10 B64D and an RC10 B6.4D. The wheel models do not have a vent hole designed in to them, that will need to be done after the wheel is printed.

3D printing settings

Of the materials I have tested only Nylon has stood up to the stress of running a car on a race track. PETG was the worst material tested. I recommend Nylon for the model, but you can experiment. A high impact resin may work, but I have not tested a resin set yet.

Using 15% Gyroid infill will produce a rear wheel at ~18 grams. That is .8 grams more than a standard wheel that you may buy for a buggy.

Print face down with support to ensure you will be able to glue a set of tires. Nylon support material will be harder to remove than PLA or PETG.
