Bought a Bambu refill spool and didn't click the spool halves together tightly enough before removing the bands? Need to respool it but it's all a giant tangled mess? End up tangling and breaking when you try to respool because the filament is so dense?
Use this spindle as a temporary pre-spool respool: find the end of the filament and tuck it through one of the holes at the top/bottom of the reel to secure the filament, then begin winding. This spool is small to allow you to rotate/turn it to help avoid creating worse tangles.
I found that I could weave it thru the mess of filament and get 3-4x more of the filament per snip.
Insert the end of your filament thru one of the tiny filament-sized holes near the side of the spool, push thru until it comes out the middle, this will prevent it from slipping and unwinding.
The threading is left handed, so you'll need to turn the parts the opposite way to screw or unscrew them. This is to stop it being untightened while winding.
