Description

The third and final model in my first watch stand series. Like my other designs, I tried to incorporate an “industrial” theme into these stands. They look especially good with G-SHOCK branded watches however I'm sure they will suit others. Incorporated are optional strap tensioners for those with large wrists/ straps. Simply tighten or loosen the M3 screws to adjust the tensioner. These stands look great with the optional M3 countersunk washers, however button head screws will work just fine on their own if you prefer. I have included a front optional logo plate that is blank so that you can modify it to your own brand watches. I have also attached an exploded render view of the stand to help aid with assembly. Assembly Tips

Print at 25% gyroid infill for a good level of strength.

Add a little glue to the guide notches on cradle part B. This will help prevent the cradles from moving when removing/ displaying your watches. 

The four M3x30mm screws go through the cradle parts, spacers and arms to finally self tap into the "B" part cradle mounts.

1 x Base and side arms mount

2 x Middle cradle mount A

2 x Middle cradle mount B

2 x Stand Sides

3 x Strap Adjuster

3 x Watch Cradle part A

3 x Watch Cradle part B

4 x 30mm base feet

(optional) 12 x M3 Washers for countersunk screws. 

(optional) watch logo / logo blank.

 

Screws required

1 M3x8mm countersunk or button head screw for the front logo plate.

2 M3x10mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the centre cradle to the middle cradle mounts “A”

4 M3x12mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the side arms to the side arms mount. 

2 M3X18mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the base to the side arms mount. 

4 M3x10mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the feet to the base. 

2 M3x10mm countersunk or button head screws to lock cradle parts A and B together.

4 M3x30mm countersunk or button head screws to attach side cradles to the B cradle mounts.

Great models, printed the double and triple stand Think you could do the same style triple holder but all three are removable like the center one? I even wish I had like a mega one of these with 12 removable cradles. I printed the triple stand using tpu95 for the cradle parts and now I am thinking it might work better with a pla/petg core and tpu sleeves that slide on to stiffen it up, I am gonna try creating tpu sleeves on my own +1 to the comment on the double stand design page I saw suggesting a bit more tilt on the cradle parts Only other thought was that I am a bit concerned about metal watch bracelets rubbing on the size adjust screws but stumped how that could be prevented overall A++ designs, much appreciated! thanks :)

Thank you bud, I'm planning on making a larger version, 6+ watches in the not too distant future. This will either be in a cube or rectangle configuration. Really appreciate the feedback, I'll try and incorporate it into the future designs :)
