Basic Information:
The Diamond T 4-ton 6Γ—6 truck was a heavy tactical truck built for the U.S. Army during World War II. Cargo models were designed to carry a 4-ton load over all terrains and in all weather conditions. There were also scrap cars, dump trucks and other models. They were replaced by the M39 series 5-ton 6Γ—6 trucks in the 1950s.
