3D model description

This is the Czech Republic PP Mi-Ba, a simple non-metallic, High-Explosive Blast (HE-Blast), Anti-Personnel (AP) blast landmine with a Bakelite body made in two halves, which screws together.

The top section is the pressure plate, which unscrews to expose the central fuze well.

The cast TNT main charge is contained in the lower part of the body, with an air void above it.

The landmine is used with the RO-7-II fuze.

The fuze has a tubular plastic body with a cavity at the upper end, in the center of this is a spring-loaded striker made from plastic with a steel firing pin.

The striker is retained in position against the compressed spring by a shear disc.

The striker spring is under full compression throughout the life of the fuze.

When used in the PP Mi-Ba, the fuze is fitted with a special short version of the stab-sensitive detonator.

The landmine is normally unpainted, in the red-brown color of the Bakelite.
