Description

This Counter Cleaner helps you to easily, quickly and thoroughly clean things off your kitchen counter / dining table / office desk. Just place it against the counter or table, sweep everything into it and you're done!

 

If you would like to mount the Counter Cleaner to a wall or the door of a kitchen cabinet for easy accessibility, check out the corresponding holder.

 

The model in the pictures was printed in Bambu Lab PLA Matte Desert Tan.

you need good bed adhesion for this print or need to activate brims. the designer is very helpful and has a lot of patience, respect!

Glue on a textured PEI plate serves as a separation layer. It can be used to make sure certain materials like PETG and especially TPU don’t stick to the plate too well, so they won’t destroy it upon removal. Glue does not improve adhesion, it reduces it. I know this sounds counterintuitive, but glue on a textured PEI plate is pretty much the worst thing you can do for adhesion.

I did not know that! thank you very much. what else can I do, apart from cleaning the bed with dishsoap and water? I‘ll try again and reprint the profile - then I’ll fix the rating if it works after that.

PEI offers great adhesion, but only when it is kept very clean. Touching it with your fingers is *extremely* bad for adhesion, because the oils of your fingers act like a barrier between the plate and the model. I suggest cleaning the plate with a brush, using hot water and a good quality dish soap that cuts through grease. After thoroughly washing it try to apply some 99.9% isopropyl alcohol (not 70% or 91%, but 99.9%. Less than that and the water in the alcohol will just smear the grease around) to the plate in between prints, and make sure to never touch the build surface with your bare hands. If you are using the original PEI plate by Bambu Lab and/or use Bambu PLA, I have found they really do like to get heated a touch higher than recommended. For PLA try a temperature of 60C. I've had great success with that. Also keep in mind that textured PEI plates are considered consumable items, they don't last forever. If you start losing adhesion even after washing the plate thoroughly and upping the heat a little, you can usually get some new life out of it by going over the plate with very fine steel wool (grade 0000) or very fine , wet sandpaper (1000 grit or higher). This won’t damage the plate and will usually breathe new life into it. Note: This only applies to textured PEI plates, don’t do that with other plates.

Looks like bad bed adhesion, which caused your print to warp and maybe even move around on the build plate. I see you are using the textured PEI plate. PEI offers great adhesion, but only when it is kept very clean. Lastly, make sure you don't print this particular model too fast. It has a lot of overhangs, and while I designed the model in a way that makes it easily printable by most printers on the market, speed is REALLY bad for overhangs. I've tested the design to print without problems at 100% speed (as set in my print profile, I can't speak for the profiles by other people as I have not tested them), but don't go higher than that. If anything, try to slow the print down a little. Since you seem to be using the A1 you also want to make sure there are no drafts around your printer (i.e. open windows, printer next to an a/c outlet, people walking by all the time, printer next to a door that swings open and close etc.). Drafts can temporarily cool the filament down enough to cause print problems.

I had to print this twice, the first time I had some bed adhesion issues which led to one of the thin extension pieces lifting up. After adding a brim and making sure my build plate was spotless the 2nd print was flawless.

Ich würde die Front tiefer ausschneiden damit die Schaufel unter die Platte geschoben werden kann. Ca. 5 cm ist jede Arbeitsplatte dick.
