Holder for knitting needles - knitting needle holder

A holder for several knitting needles with different diameters.

The holder was designed as an insert for a toilet roll holder - it was my wife's idea to hang the wool on the toilet roll holder so that the ball of yarn can rotate freely and to put the knitting needles in the container for the toilet brush :-)

With the insert, everything looks neater and tidier, the needles don't fall out and don't get stuck.

The photos show the stand with and without the printed needle holder.

Now it's important to check the dimensions, as I don't know whether there is a DIN standard for toilet brushes.

The container into which the needle holder is inserted has the following dimensions:

Inner diameter approx. 88mm

Outer diameter approx. 93.5mm.

The holder has the following dimensions:

the inner core has a diameter of 85mm and therefore a little play.

The collar has 97mm inside and therefore also some play.

Total outer diameter 108mm

Total height approx. 100mm.

(small adjustments are possible by scaling in the slicer if the brush container has different dimensions)

There are 2x holes for each of the following needle diameters:

15 holes on the outer edge for 10 needles 2.5 and 5 needles 3.5.
