How to assemble
- Insert the HEPA filter into the frame.
Insert the HEPA filter into the frame.
At this time, insert the filter so that the filter handle is on the outside.
This will make it easier to replace the filter.
- Attach a handle to the activated carbon box.
Make a handle on the activated carbon box using masking tape or other means.
Press the tape into the box with your fingernail so that it follows the shape of the box.
Fold back the handle to complete the process.
- Pack activated carbon.
Pack the activated carbon for air/gas until the very last minute.
The more you pack, the better air quality you can expect.
Be careful not to spill the activated carbon and fill it to the maximum level.
Do not forget to close the lid at the end.
- Install HEPA filter
Open the filtration box located behind the build plate of the printer.
Discard the genuine activated carbon case inside.
Install the HEPA filter first.
Insert the HEPA filter so that its handle is facing down and push it into the top to secure it in place.
At this time, make sure that the bumps on the frame face the front.
The filter faces down for easier replacement.
It will not come off and fall down, no worries.
- Insert activated carbon box
Insert the activated carbon box into the underside of the HEPA filter.
Insert it so that the handle you just made faces forward.
- Lid is on and installation is complete!
Put the lid back on.
Installation into the unit is now complete!
Chamber fans must be driven to improve air quality!
Follow the steps below to change the slicer settings and specify the best values!
- Enable developer mode from the preferences
- Enable "Air filtration enhancement" from printer settings
- Activate "Activate air filtration" from the cooling tab of the filament settings
- Specify the chamber fan speed during/after printing
The initial speed of the chamber fan is 70%.
However, this is too fast for ABS.
For filaments where the temperature in the chamber is important, a speed of 30% should be specified.
This allows air to be filtered with minimal impact on printing!
