Description

I have been keeping my filaments for 4 years inside dry boxes made with cereal containers. They are convenient but every time I had to print outside of AMS I had to keep them open. I designed these pieces to be able to install the PTFE connectors so that if I need a color on the fly without opening and changing filament in AMS it still remains closed and does not take in humidity. Once the printing is finished, I insert the PTFE on the front connector so that it remains hermetically closed. Very comfortable for me.

I am just about to make the move from bags to dry boxes and this is a very nice solution. Printed on my X1 Carbon in Sport mode. (I should have Timelapse it) What did you use for the gasket? I may print some TPU gaskets and see yow they work. Thank you for the print.

Hi, thank you for the rating. I didn't put any type of gasket, they are thin and flexible and if fixed well, no air comes out or comes in. You can notice it when you put the ptfe tube into the two connectors and squeeze the box, it causes resistance! why only 3 stars?

My Bambu Studio was playing up but you should have 5 stars now. Sometimes i have to post then edit the post to give 5 start. I'll go search the community now to see if i can find a fix. I just need the box now :)
