3D model description

Birdfeeder V2.

Bodysize is 140x140x255 mm.

If you like, print the bird and glue it to the sides of the body, wit cyanoacrylate glue (CA).

There are 2 versions, one with 2 mm holes, for hanging with 1,5 mm HARD steelwire (as in my photos) and another with 4 mm holes, if you like to try hanging with string/lace/ties.

Also included is a bird and a hook for screwing in to a tree or wall.

3D printing settings

I've included .3mf files too, for the body/lid, from Bambu Studio with correct print profiles.

Use transparent PETG (best) or PLA for the body and you can see from the outside how much seeds/nuts there are left. The lid is also best printed with PETG, but PLA also works.

Print all in the direction showed in the pictures.

Cover the whole thing with a thin layer of UV resistant clear lacquer (only outside).

Infill: 12%
Support: yes (but i think it can be left out, only short bridges).

LID:

Layer height: 0.2
Walls/perimeters: 3
Infill: 12%
Support: no

BIRD:

Layer height: 0.2
Walls/perimeters: 2
Top/bottom layers 5/5
Infill: doesn't matter
Support: no

HOOK:

Layer height: 0.2
Walls/perimeters: 4
Infill: 20%
Support: no
