Description

Mounta Katahdin: The tallest mountain in Maine, the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. Many quests have begun and ended on this peak. With Pamola slightly below, I decided to dust this in a bit of snow. There's several routes to climb to the top, and if you take Abol trail you will pass the Thoreau Spring, as he famed climbed Katahdin during his work “The Maine Woods”.

One of my first topographic models. There's some artifacts due to the vertical exaggeration. Still a learning process but a simple model that makes for a good conversation peice for anyone who has hiked there.

Suggest printing in a 0.2 mm or larger nozzle to reduce this effect
