3D model description

Only my custom accessories are premium items, the classic logs can be found here for free!

I am very excited to finally be releasing this project I've been working on for quite some time now. Not because it was particularly difficult but because it got pushed aside for too long - but not anymore!

My son loves building with his Lincoln Logs, as do I, so I decided to make some of my own to play around with. As you can see, I also designed my very own custom pieces to really take this classic toy to the next level. With a deluxe brick chimney, trimmed out windows and door, and even a solid foundation, these aren't your Grandma's building logs! To make this project even more fun, I decided to make them tiny and adorable - perfect for a fun, little creativity break atop your desk when you're feeling fried at work.

All the pieces needed to build the cabin shown in the picture are included:

  • 16 singles
  • 8 doubles
  • 2 peaks
  • 2 roof panels
  • 1 brick chimney
  • 1 foundation

That's it! Everything you need to print & build your very own miniature desktop log cabin. Be sure bed adhesion is optimal due to the many small points of contact between the models and build plate. Feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or suggestions. Enjoy!

3D printing settings

Print with or without supports, subject to machine and/or filament performance.

Use these tips to get optimal bed adhesion for a successful print:

  • Concentric 1st layer pattern
  • Decrease 1st layer speed, others if desired
  • Increase 1st layer line width to ensure a good squish
  • Use optimum bed + nozzle temps for machine + filament used

Try using these tricks, if you haven't already. I did so when test printing & have yet to experience a failure due to bed adhesion!
