Description

the well-known torture taoster from clockspring with a double dovetail test.

The dovetail test has a tolerance of 0.1mm
Dovetail should be able to be pressed into the desired position with firm pressure.

The 0.2mm height standard settings were used for slicing.

Cold plate with glue works perfect for me.

IMPORTANT: The print does not have to be perfect or beautiful. It is there to show what your printer can do and where improvements may need to be made (print adhesion / cooling / material ... etc.)

Strength Issue:printed fine. some of the parts broke maybe that’s a filament issue but the filament has been strong for other stuff. also top layer came out bad. I just printed blue spirit mask with same pla and it was fine.

It was a great test for my X1C. It came out very well, but i spent 15 minutes pondering what the double dove tail thing is for. i dont think it has a point.

it's mainly fittings for example you can use woodworking techniques to get large parts together (in the condition when you make your own models or stuff then you can combine elements as u want ) the toaster got a slot in the back that in a good set up printer will press fit in place making it seamless it literally shows u multi directional axis positioning precision since slopes printed at an angle horizontally going with slopes printed vertically since the slot in the toaster is the vertical one u see if you get warping at any point z wabble etc etc anything that messes up position it is noticeable. 2 extras go together 1st then the built panel is connected the right way please look at rounded corners match with rounded corners on toaster. if not matching try to adjust the resolution on the model in slicer look in the Quality tab - precision - slice gap radius and the resolution under it . personally have it on 0.005 and 0,005 but that's because i design my own stuff and i sometimes want to get exactly what i make in my cad prog, TLDR = bla bla bla precision fit test for junctures /multi directional positional precision test. btw just for reference new to 3d printing but 15+ years of cad usage and manufacturing experience tell me that it's a juncture test

needed to tune my printer a bit more, but still amazing, I live the dovetail attachment, should be part of the original.

thank you for your rating. Yes, in my opinion, the dovetail connection is particularly important for assembling large components without screwing them together
