Description

I made this design quite a a few years ago & it's gone through a few iterations.

This is what I'd consider the idea varint, thick enough to be obvious from most angles & not big as to use alot of filament & take long to print.

The small dot is there to trick the slicer into giving best top layers between colours.

I've included profiles for three sizes but scale to suit.

Awesome model, but needs some tweaking for multicolor printing. it imports with the raised section and base as two different parts, one on top of the other. I make these into one part, and then do layer painting to differentiate the colors. It came out so great that everyone loved it, so I printed 8 more to give out to friends and family. Added a magnet to the back of mine to display it on the fridge (ignore the smudges on my refrigerator door).

Hi, thanks for the review. The raised section is intentional for how I like the finish. I use a matte black that can show up minor line variations so easily so It's just to ensure the black top layer is printed monotonic to give as flat a surface as possible. Can I recommend you upload your variations as remix of profile for others to use aswell? :)
