-----THE ORIGINAL PRINT PROFILE HAS BEEN THOROUGHLY TESTED WITH MANY FILAMENT BRANDS. IT HAS CUSTOM FIRST LAYER AND OTHER CUSTOM PRINT SETTINGS. I DONT NOT RECCOMEND USING ANY OTHER PRINT PROFILES. ----

requires 1.5inch round 1/8 inch thick acrylic disc. (38mm x 3mm for the metric people)

Absolutely perfect, no glue and a funnel to fill. thank you for sharing. I always use my own settings so not sure on the profile posted.

I tried so hard to like this, i like the aesthetics, but it just has too many shortcomings. The included print profile didnt work for me at all, it kept ripping the body model off the bed near the end of the print. I printed 4 times before i just re-sliced with my generic 0.20 profile which worked fine. After i changed to my own profile and successfully printed i found the holes in the box are just too large, i have brand new colour changing silica from amazon, (500 char limit, cont in reply)

(continued from above) i bought just for these boxes, and i still end up with a mess all over the floor when filling these. Also the legs on the back piece are kinda silly, it forces you to use this specific acrylic piece, i have so many clear acrylic scraps from various houshold items like jard of nuts or other packaging from various household items, it's wasteful to buy pieces just for this, so i ended up removing the legs and printing a ring that just friction fit in behind the acryclic so i could just cut down my scrap stuff to fit the hole and then press fit a ring in behind it, which i later added superglue to bond the body and the ring, probably not necessary but i didnt want to find out if i droped one of the boxes. i had also intended to scale these down a bit to fit in my cereal dryboxes, but with the holes still being too big, I may just find or make another model for that purpose.

Sorry you had trouble. I tested it with four different PLA brands and two different silica beads, and you're the first to have trouble out of the 350 people who downloaded it. I'm not sure what happened. If I see more people having similar trouble, I may adjust the hole sizes.

Nice and easy print. My own fault using crappy cheap filament as I have lots of stringing especially around funnel but oh well :) Unfortunately after filling it with silica which is typical 2-5mm in size I've noticed some of them are going through gaps as these are a bit too big I think. I have different containers printed which have better pattern but these don't have space for transparent window.

very nice print. super tight. broke three out of 6 with the internal supports that hold the glass in place when snapping together. probably my fault though I’m kinda weak. used vice to put one together. printed 6 in total.

They work great. I didn’t have any acrylic discs and didn’t want to order a pack of 30 for just 3 on Amazon. So I used a sheet of acetate I had in my craft stash with a 1.5” circle punch then glued to the container. Pity they weren’t a little taller to maximise the space in the ams.
