Description

This is a 3D printed case for the 2-pin jack of the Kenwood standard, which is used by almost every hand-held amateur radio. Ideal for various applications where custom connector manufacturing is required. This one is used as the connector www.aliexpress.com.

After printing both parts, insert the connected jacks inside, then cover with the second part of the printout. Several variants can be used to connect both parts. The first is to use instant glue and glue the two parts together (this option is suitable for fixed assembly, ideally when you have tested everything). The second option is to use nothing and leave both parts loosely clicked (this option is suitable for assembly, when it is necessary to often take parts apart). As a third option, use classic electrician's tape, wrap the tape between the connectors (this is an ideal compromise for a solid but detachable connection).

v1

This version is wider, which guarantees more strength. Considering that many manufacturers mount the holes in their radios to the far left, some to the right. So I was forced to create a v2 that should satisfy most radio stations.

v2

This version is narrower, use if v1 cannot be used

v3

This version is still in the modeling process. The housing should include mounting the part using an M3 screw.

In the table below I list the compatibility of the individual versions for the given radio stations, if you can, use version 1. If you do not find your radio in the table, I would be very happy if you test the compatibility yourself and leave me your printout, I will be happy to add another radio station to the table.
