Description

This is a posable model of the ED-209 from the movie Robocop. It is a kit and all the joints are posable.

Default color of the model is grey. so if there is no color code at the end of the model name, it means it is grey.
G - grey
B - black
R - red
Y - yellow

The shaft for the flaps are not printed as I used toothpicks.

this was an excellent print. very well designed! I used my AMS to print the colors in and printed the entire thing in Bambu Matte PLA’s and used support filament on my X1C. I also used TPU and some CA glue for the arm wires and upper flap pins after a bit of boring out with a drill bit which worked well. Go easy on the drill bit for the flaps or the filament won’t be snug enough and the flaps will flop around. Other things to note, the Arm_T2x2x.stl part should print one normally and one mirrored on the x-axis to make the wiring look look the same on left and right side. the overall design could use some manual supports on overhang on the back of the feet as well as the sides of the main body where the flaps connect. I had some overhang issues on those parts. I also had some issues on the center shaft within the legs, near the top. the last CM or so came out really rough like it was wobbling but the outer sides were perfect.

this is damn awesome. had issues with the legs due to it not fitting and had to reduce the size and now slightly too small but other than that it's amazing. i also used filament instead of a toothpick for the shoulders which worked well.thankyou
