Extra bracing for the shell of the Traxxas Hoss

I was finding my shell would flex and come off after driving or jumping it. The flex was caused from the impact back to the ground or a tree.

Found other models had shell bracing so I thought I would design some up for my Hoss.

2 different version were made (both included) As you can see in the picture, I printed them in pink.

The left version (file names Brace L and Brace R) offers more support. I originally made the version on the right but found there was still some flex where it joined.

These do not require any additional hardware with the hardware already installed on the shell being able to be used.

3D printing settings

Ideally you would want to print these in PETG or ABS but the current ones I am running are from PLA and are holding up fine.

I printed the test ones at 50% infill, and they work fine. Print at 100% if you want to be extra sure.

Supports are not needed, they should load in your slicer already in the correct orientation.

If printing the original you just print 2x the brace.stl, otherwise use the L and R versions of the newer versions.
