A special request for Grimlocksmash. A relatively small reservoir, about 925 acres but a local spot for fishing, hiking, camping and other outdoor recreation. Located in Mclean and Woodford county it looks like a fun place for a weekend trip.
Using a 10m DEM from publicly available data I have crafted this fine bathymetric-topographic composite model. The bathymetry I used a 5 x vertical exaggeration, as the reservoir only bottoms out at 44 ft, and to add some contour I increased this. The rest of the model is roughly 1:18k scale.
As always pick whatever colors please you, I went with two-tones of blue for added water depth versus shallow effect, and a green versus orange/tan pattern for the land-surface.
