Optimist - Water catcher - Nautica

Water bailer (model for recreational sailing or competition) designed to be carried comfortably in small dinghies such as Optimist, Laser, Finn, Snipe ... and to empty the water that we are entering overboard from the sea blows.

With a reduced closed handle so that it is perfect to hold with one hand and does not fall into the sea, you can also tie a rope to the boat and avoid losing it.

Being a 3d format you can print it as many times as you want or lose it even reducing or enlarging it to fit your hand, the weight you can lift.

There are two sizes, the smaller version is suitable for younger crew members as the normal 2 liter ones are a bit heavy for them.

Very light weight format and quick printing.

1.2 mm walls with inner reinforcements, enough to give very good quality and durability.

I recommend not to print in blue, better other colors that stand out more, so if it falls into the sea we will locate it sooner.

Printed in PLA or PETG in vertical position and with 2 small supports in the handle area.

Printed in 0.32 mm layer height, 3-layer walls (1.2 mm total), 50% handle filling (for strength) and no adhesion to the printing plate.

And speed whatever your printer lets you, but it can be quite fast, because the contours us very smooth and continuous without complications.
