3D model description

Accurately designed helmet as seen in the video game Halo Reach. This is a fan made replica model, and neither myself nor this product is affiliated with Microsoft or 343 industries.

3d file in .stl format for 3d printing with all added detail from game textures.

Includes a total of 5 zips with main helmet file, back seal, mp chin assembly, chin print in place hinges, chin to helmet mounts, marine strap covers, sunglasses, sunglasses armored, visor mold (visor print sits on mold), visor mount, visor, and light covers.

There are also attachments including the cnm typhon, commander unit, top mounted goggles, tac mount, willow solid, and willow hollow.

-Pro Series Features-

This pro series helmet design includes slots for a total of 66 10x3mm magnets, 8 of which are part of the new helmet insert. The insert is based on the FAST tactical helmets and is removable, held to the helmet with magnets. It also has holes for FAST helmet chin strap systems to keep the helmet completely in place. This is so can be removed from one pro series helmet, and moved to another of the same scale, no need to do padding and straps for each helmet. The helmet also includes a removable back, visor, and chin assembly, now allowing a much tighter seal around the neck and less of a bucket look.

With the magnets you can switch on the fly from the Marine look to and from the Military Police helmet.

The visor mold has also been re done where now the printed and sanded, or resin printed visor, sits in the visor mold base for vac forming.

SCALING NOT RECOMMENDED. Pro Series helmet files are pre scaled in three different sizes, a small, medium, and a large. If you alter the scale of the helmet files the magnet slots won't work.

-Helmet Scales-
Small: head circumference 22in, Recommended head height: 8.9in
Medium: head circumference: 23in, Recommended head height: 9.2in
Large: head circumference 24in, Recommended head height: 9.55in

*sizes are just recommendation, helmet will fit smaller and slightly larger

The visor can be either be printed in a see through resin or vacuum formed with the visor mold. Keep in mind the visor files provided are a 1-1 scale, if you are going to do a vacuum form I would shrink the visor mold slightly to allow the molded plastics thickness.
