3D model description

I designed a spring-loaded wall-mounted clip to organize my paint and solvent cans and to keep them off the counter. The clip is simple and quick to use, and I tested it by making a lot of revisions. It is designed to fit standard spray paint cans, WD 40, mold release, Super 77 spray adhesive, and any other standard can size. You just need to pair the 64mm spring clip top with one of the three bottom support options.

The spring action of the clip allows for a quick automatic lock and release when you push the cans into place. To reinforce the spring action, you should print it flat on the build plate so that the layer lines help reinforce the spring. The clip is sized to fit the cans snug and tight, so if you want to be minimal, you can use only one top clip. In this case, you should add a thick rubber band or tape to the can to prevent it from sliding downward. I hope this clip will help you organize your shop as it did for me.

The "Round Wall Clip 64mm" original version is a screw-mount for all standard can sizes.

"V2 64mm" is designed for the medium or small-sized Command Strips.

The NEW "72mm" version is sized for the Bernzomatic Propane Torch 14.1oz (400g) and offered in a screw mount version and large-sized command strip version. Always follow warning labels and instructions on the bottles and canisters. Use at your own risk!

Thank you for all the support :)

3D printing settings

Print flat using PETG with 4-6 wall loop lines. Feel free to stretch it vertically if you'd like even more spring action for hanging orientation.

Use medium or small command strips. Don't use the hook and loop version as they are better for shear force not for pulling force.
