Description

I Just built the Marble Run 003 Components Kit from Bambu Lab and was excited for my toddler and pre-schooler to play with it. Although they loved watching it go, they really wanted to control the elevator. So I decided to look for a manual hand crank to print for it and found this great design by Pretzel 3d (https://makerworld.com/en/models/50487#profileId-52241). Unfortunately, I was faced with some problems: the ones I found required removal of the motor, or were a weird fit; and my kids would get confused and sometimes send the elevator backwards which would jam some marbles underneath the elevator. So I decided to design a one way clutch type model which can work without removing the motor, can't go backwards, and is just fun to play around with. This all could not be done without the help of some models listed as being remixed from. I hope you enjoy!

As a engineer I love the simplicity, but effectiveness of this little handle. My kid loves it too. spends hours just turning it.

Thank you so much! As someone who only just started tinkering around with CAD and just got his first 3D printer ever only a few months ago, it means a lot to hear people enjoy my remix! I kept trying to figure out how to get it to turn one way and then it clicked... a manual/standard transmission vehicle has a clutch. what if I search for clutch STL's. and so it was made. Thanks again!
