3D model description

This is the easiest way to start your silicone molds!
I Made a design of the most practical and simple mold for creating Tea-light candles β€” it requires a minimum of silicone & and PLA plastic to print the formwork!

My designs are not only modeled but also tested in real life β€” I am experimenting with the optimal sizes and shapes for printing and pouring.

! You need to use a non-silicone release spray like "Ease Release 200" for easy first demolding β€” otherwise, you'll have to break the frame to get the mold out.

The design is simplified as much as possible for this reason:
The formwork have a socket on the bottom of the mold, all you will need to do is mount master model in the socket with double-sided tape or weak glue and then press out the silicone mold through the holes at the bottom (see video on my Instagram) www.instagram.com/reel/C0doJ3htrx8
The silicone will push the inner framework up β€” it will need to be fixed by placing something flat on top of it, like a piece of glass.

You can make your own silicone mold by printing the master model and frame on your 3D printer using PLA.
