Wall art designed to capture the iconic look of the R32 Skyline, perfect for any enthusiast's space. This piece is not just decor, but a striking homage to JDM excellence, bringing the essence of the car scene into any room.

To complete the phone holder you'll need:

• 1 x R34 (printable)
• 1 x Background (printable)
• 1 x Backing Frame (printable)
• 1 x Standoff (printable)
• 1 x Optional Display Stand (printable)
• Some Glue (CA/Super Glue/Alike)

Print Settings

I would recommend using opaque filaments. More translucent filaments tend to allow darker features to shine through. I tried experimenting with variable layer height on this model which can yield interesting results. Feel free to adjust the print quality settings to suit your preferences. I've found BBL Filaments and various other brands work well, especially for Silk PLA, though reducing the speed of the outer walls to about 60mm/s enhances the finish.

• R34: Opt for a 15% rec infill for stability. I use three bottom shell layers to ensure it hangs flat against the wall. The seam position is set to “aligned” to maintain the sleek look of the skyline outline.
• Background: Same as above; it provides enough strength to support the car while keeping the piece lightweight for easy hanging.
• Backing Frame: With a 5% red infill, this are designed to be robust to securely attach the art to the wall. I keep the surface as concentric so it has a sleek and regular surface finish.
• Standoff and Display Stand: These are at 15% infill, Display Stand needs a fair big of strength for obvious reasons.

Assembly

Assembly is easy! You can pin it up to a wall using tacks or screws, also print and use the stand for desktop viewing. Simple glue job, glue the car to the background and glue the background to the frame. Simple!
