I got an EMU warning that made me think i had a blocked fuel line so I wanted to add Redex.

But the Ford Focus has the shutter mechanism on the filler - anti-siphon device.

The car is supposed to come with an additive funnel but it wasn't there in mine so I knocked this up to get the additive in.

These fillers have a shutter mechanism tht is intended to be tamperproof to an extent and is opened by two sliding latches at the sides, which are pushed open when the correct size nozzle is pushed in (the diesel fuel delivery nozzle is bigger than petrol), so this funnel emulates that.

Worked for me - instead of Redex all over the floor it actually went in the tank.

Printed in ASA and seems to have stood up to the chemicals in Redex Diesel additive.
