Its acidic saliva can dissolve flesh and bone on contact, while its powerful jaws can crush even the sturdiest of structures. Despite its size, the Purple Worm is surprisingly agile, capable of twisting and turning to strike at its prey from unexpected angles. Purple Worms are solitary creatures, spending the majority of their lives burrowing through the depths of the earth in search of food. They are relentless hunters, capable of detecting the slightest vibrations in the ground and using them to track down their prey. Purple Worms are primarily found in the deepest reaches of the Underdark, where the earth is thick and rich with minerals and ores. They carve out vast networks of tunnels and caverns beneath the surface, creating a labyrinthine underworld that is both awe-inspiring and treacherous.
