Description

Baby Chick and Easter Egg Layered Fidgets - perfect little additions to any Easter basket 🐣

In my print profile, I provided some options. It is more efficient/generates less waste if you print more than one at a time. Because of that, for example, on plate #3 I placed all three decorated eggs to be printed together. Similarly, you could also arrange and print the eggs from Plate #4, #5 and #6 all together to cut down on waste:)

Plates prepared in Print Profile:

Plate #1: Baby Chick, 1 color

Plate #2: Plain Egg, 1 color

Plate #3: Patterned, Striped, Flower Eggs, 3 colors

Plate #4: Flower Egg, 2 colors

Plate #5: Patterned Egg, 2 colors

Plate #6: Striped Egg, 2 colors

I feel your frustration 😩 There have been times I have this problem with these kinds of prints. Each layer of these fidgets is 1mm wide (which is pretty thin). A couple things you can try: (1) make sure your bed is real clean, (2) use a little glue stick (some people use hair spray) on the bed to help it stick , (3) increase the first layer height to .32mm; and - what helps me the most - (4) slow down the print at first. On my A1 mini I sometimes slow it down to 50% for the first couple layers. Ultimate, final last resort for me would be add an inner and outer brim, which just needs to be carefully removed when done. Some others on here might have other suggestions but these are the things I usually do:)

Replying to @3DPmom :
They keep failing after the color change so the first layer isn't the issue. The last fail was with only 10 layers left. just got knocked off the plate. I did just put down a nasty amount of glue and 2/4 printed without failing. I just added Brim to outside so maybe that will work.
