This is a wind up motor for Leg0 It uses a mechanism that might seem a little non-intuitive at first. It's a way of gearing something way way up in one step. This cuts out a lot of friction from multiple gears rubbing on axles. The spring is also symmetrical so it doesn't twist the gear.
