模型本体位于山西省大同市灵丘县白崖台乡，不过现在这个地方已经不在了，由于常年缺乏维护，风化严重，加之出于对交通道路的扩建，于是在2010年千后拆除改建，翻新成了另外一个普普通通的城楼，简介中最后一张照片。
