M1928 and M1928A1 Thompson 1/3 SCALE MINIATURE

Lore:

The Thompson submachine gun is a blowback-operated, selective-fire submachine gun, invented and developed by United States Army Brigadier General John T. Thompson in 1918.
Used in the World War I to break the stalemate of trench warfare. Widely adopted during World War II, seen use in the Korean War in 1950 and Vietnam War (mostly by reconnaissance units).
Thompson SMG was also used by many Law enforcement angencies and Gangsters during the Prohibition and Great Depression era in USA.

The earlier model 1928 was the first type widely used by military forces, with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps as major buyers through the 1930s.

The M1928A1 variant entered mass production before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Changes included a horizontal forend, in place of the distinctive vertical pistol grip. Though it could use both the drum and the box magazines, active service favored the box magazines.
