This looks STUNNING in silk PLA gold! I meticulously hand painted this in Bambu Studio. For your colors to match, please make sure you have have color #1 as black, #2 as white, and #3 as gold. This trophy stands about 160mm high, and the base is 100mmx100mm.
Suggested Print Settings:
0.4 nozzle
0.2 layer height
2 walls
5 bottom shell layers
5% gyroid infill
No supports needed
Suggested Speed settings:
For silk PLA to really shine, it has to be printed slowly. I recommend 30 mm/s for all outer walls. 230c for PLA silk and 220c for regular PLA (according to my Bambu P1S).
Filaments I used:
I used Bambu PLA silk gold, Bambu PLA basic jade white, and Bambu PLA basic black.
Multicolor Flushing Volume Notes:
This print will take almost 11 hours on a P1/X1 printer, due to the slow outer wall speed and the numerous color changes. Bambu has notoriously high flushing volumes, but I did some testing and can recommend these settings that purge 50% less waste than Bambu's settings (and still won't result in any color bleed):
Add your own text!
If you go into the Objects panel, you can select the text and modify it as you wish. Note, when you change it, you might have to adjust the size and spacing to fit your text. Font I used is Gotham Black, but any bold, sans-serif font will look good. If you want to remove the text, you can delete it.
I hope you enjoy printing this as much as I did! Please give it a like if you think it's cool, and please post your makes! Happy to address any comments and concerns you have.
